Helen, Greg and I took Darryl to the place he had asked to rest in. The Stoney Creek, within an hour of Melbourne, gurgles through remnants of old Lemuria. We all agreed that this is the perfect resting place.

  1. When I see these images, I feel like I’ve stepped back in time 100 million years. Beautiful!

  2. Yes Lori! To a place where people gathered, by life giving water, camped, eating, singing, dancing, telling stories. This truly is another world and if ever someone is wondering where I am they may just find me here, remembering.

Places of the Heart

The "Magic Garden" and "Places of the Heart" are Wild Garden, WEB 2.0 projects that have been designed to show educators and their students how good curriculum can be delivered and the outcomes published, using new technology such as blogs, writeboard, photo board and many other exciting applications. When she is not working at Soul Food, trekking Lemuria or Wild Gardening, Heather Blakey builds virtual communities. She is currently working with the Victorian Education Channel, building a virtual community for teachers using state-of-the-art, internet based publishing tools.
